Debris in orbit

More than 15,000 articles of debris are currently revolving around the earth and threatening the 1,000 satellites in operation. But where does this space waste come from? What countries are responsible for the pollution in orbit?

To answer those questions, LargeNetwork’s graphic designers gathered all available data to create a spectacular infographic published in Reflex magazine. It describes the main objects floating in space at altitudes from 300 to 35,000 kilometres, with information on their origin, size and shape.
